All products sold by Uvamai Niche Tourism are digitally delivered goods — PDF documents containing streaming audio links, interactive maps, and tour guidance materials. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agreed to every term in this policy. This agreement is legally binding in all countries worldwide.

Section 01Nature of the Product — Why Digital Goods Operate Differently

Uvamai's self-guided audio tour packages are 100% digital. The moment your payment is confirmed, our automated system delivers a PDF to your registered email address containing:

  • Professionally narrated streaming audio guides hosted on SoundCloud
  • Interactive Google My Maps links with precise attraction coordinates
  • Curated walking routes, attraction summaries, and insider tips
  • 24/7 technical-support contact details

Because the complete product is transmitted to you instantly and irrevocably at the moment of purchase, the product cannot be "returned." Unlike a physical item, digital content — once received — cannot be reclaimed. This is the fundamental distinction recognised by consumer-protection legislation in every major legal jurisdiction.

1.1  Governing Legal Framework

The following international legislative frameworks explicitly exempt instantly delivered digital goods from standard cancellation or return rights:

European Union Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m): No right of withdrawal for digital content where supply has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement.

Australia Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Sch. 2): Where Uvamai fulfils its service obligations as described, no statutory right of refund applies.
India Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020 and IT Act 2000: Digital goods governed by stated platform terms, transparently disclosed at point of sale.
All Other Countries Uvamai's stated policy governs transactions where no specific digital-goods return statute exists. By proceeding to checkout, travellers accept these terms as the governing contract.

Section 02Pre-Purchase Informed Consent — Your Contractual Acknowledgement

By clicking "Purchase" and completing checkout, you explicitly confirm each of the following:

  1. You understand that you are purchasing a digitally delivered PDF document — not a physical product, live guided tour, or downloadable audio files.
  2. You understand that audio guides stream online via SoundCloud and require an active internet connection throughout your tour.
  3. You have verified that your device meets the stated technical requirements.
  4. You have selected your preferred language during checkout and acknowledge this selection is final and irrevocable.
  5. You understand that museum admission tickets, transportation, meals, and personal expenses are not included.
  6. The 6-day access period begins upon first activation of any audio guide link and cannot be paused, extended, or restarted.
  7. You have read and unconditionally accept Uvamai's no-refund policy as stated herein.
  8. You acknowledge that digital goods cannot be returned and no refund will be issued after purchase under any circumstances.

Section 03No-Refund Policy — All Sales Are Final

ALL SALES OF UVAMAI DIGITAL PRODUCTS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. Once payment is processed and the PDF download link is issued to your email address, no refund, partial refund, credit, exchange, or compensation of any kind will be granted.

3.1  Non-Exhaustive List of Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • Change of travel plans, trip cancellation, or travel restrictions
  • Medical conditions, illness, injury, or hospitalisation
  • Natural disasters, adverse weather, government-imposed bans, or force-majeure events
  • Closure, reduced hours, or restricted access to individual attractions
  • Dissatisfaction with narration style, voice, or production approach
  • Selection of an incorrect language at checkout
  • Failure to use the product within the 6-day access period
  • Loss of the PDF file or failure to save the download link
  • Inability to stream audio due to the traveller's own internet or device limitations
  • Discovery of a free or lower-cost alternative after purchase
  • Belief that the product included museum tickets, transportation, or a live guide
  • Any other personal, situational, technical, or subjective reason

3.2  Digital Goods Cannot Be Returned

The no-refund position reflects the technical and legal reality of digital content delivery. Once the PDF is dispatched, Uvamai has fulfilled its contractual delivery obligation in full. The content has been transmitted, the streaming links are active, and the intellectual property has been accessed. There is no mechanism by which digital information, once received, can be reclaimed or verified as unused.

4.1  English-Language — Full Production Standard

All English-language audio guides are fully produced, professionally narrated by native speakers, verified for factual accuracy, and continuously updated. These meet the highest professional audio-tourism standard.

4.2  Major European Languages — Production Complete

Audio guides in Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Portuguese are produced to full professional standard with native-speaker narration and verified attraction coverage.

4.3  Additional Languages — Active Production Commitment

Uvamai offers guides in Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other languages. While the majority of content is complete at purchase, certain versions may be in active refinement. Our quality commitment:

Section 05Language Selection — Final, Irrevocable & Non-Exchangeable

  • Language selection is made during checkout and becomes binding the moment the transaction is confirmed.
  • Language selection cannot be altered, amended, or exchanged after purchase under any circumstances.
  • Selecting the wrong language does not entitle the purchaser to a replacement, exchange, or refund.
  • Travellers purchasing for a group must purchase separate copies for each required language.
  • If uncertainty exists, contact Uvamai before purchasing to confirm which language option is appropriate.

Section 06Access Period — Non-Extendable Terms

Your audio tour access is valid for 6 consecutive calendar days from the moment you first activate any audio guide link within your PDF.

  • The 6-day countdown begins upon first activation, not upon purchase date — you may purchase well in advance of your trip.
  • Once activated, the period runs continuously and cannot be paused, suspended, or restarted for any reason.
  • Access cannot be extended due to illness, weather, attraction closures, or any personal circumstance.
  • Upon expiry, audio links cease to function. The PDF and written materials remain accessible indefinitely.
  • No refund is provided for unused access time.
  • If additional access is required after expiry, the tour must be repurchased at the standard listed price.

7.1  What Technical Support Covers

  • Non-receipt of PDF download link following purchase
  • Difficulty opening or reading the PDF file
  • SoundCloud audio streaming errors or link failures
  • Google My Maps access issues and device compatibility questions
  • Re-issuance of lost download links (proof of purchase required)

7.2  What Technical Support Does Not Cover

  • Refund requests — these fall outside the scope of technical support
  • Language exchanges after purchase
  • Internet or data plan issues originating with the traveller's own provider

Section 08Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

  • Uvamai records comprehensive evidence of every transaction, including delivery timestamps and PDF dispatch confirmations.
  • In the event of a chargeback, Uvamai will respond with full documentary evidence that the product was delivered as described.
  • Initiating a chargeback for a validly delivered digital product constitutes payment fraud under applicable financial regulations.
  • Uvamai reserves the right to pursue all legally available remedies in response to fraudulent chargeback claims.
  • Travellers with genuine concerns are strongly encouraged to contact Uvamai directly before initiating any payment dispute.

Section 09Ethical Commitment and Traveller Responsibility

Uvamai operates on a foundation of ethical transparency. Every attraction is real, publicly accessible, and accurately described. Every audio guide contains professionally researched content.

In return, we ask travellers to exercise due diligence before purchasing:

  • Read the complete product description, including what is and is not included.
  • Verify that the listed attractions are ones you intend to visit.
  • Confirm you have a compatible device and reliable internet access at your destination.
  • Double-check your language selection before completing checkout.
  • Contact our support team with any question before purchasing.

Section 10Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This policy and all transactions with Uvamai Niche Tourism are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall first be addressed through Uvamai's customer support channels. Where resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection statutory rights in the traveller's country of residence.


Section 11Policy Updates

Uvamai reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction. The current version is always available at uvamai.shop/policies/refund-policy.
